Before proceeding with the Transfer of your domain name, you are advised to confirm if your domain name can be transferred.
You can transfer your domain to Fast Way Web. You can start this process by ordering a domain transfer through our order form online.
Notes for transferring domains:
.IE domains:
- You can scan and email the signed document to us to domainreg@fastwayweb.com or fax the document to us.
- Fast Way Web will issue you with instructions on how to transfer your domain once a domain transfer has been ordered
- Fast Way Web will confirm once your domain has been transferred to Fast Way Web
- Domain transfers typically take one working day to complete
.UK and .CO.UK domains:
- Please have your current domain provider update the IPS tag on your domain to "PDR-IN "
- Fast Way Web will confirm when the domain transfer is complete
- Domain transfers typically take a couple of hours to complete once your request has been actioned
.COM / NET / ORG etc domains
- Please ensure your domain is "unlocked".
- Please ensure you possess the domain transfer key EPP (get from current provider)
- Please ensure your domain is not due to expire within 14 days, has just been renewed (within 60 days) or registered (within 60 days)
- Please ensure the domain is registered to you and not to your domain provider (check with current provider)
- Fast Way Web will issue automatic transfer email to administrative contact email address. Please follow the steps stated in this email to complete transfer process. If you did not receive this email after placing the order, please contact us. Before contacting us please check your spam/junk folder.
- The domain transfer can take up to 10 days to complete and you will be notified once this is complete.
Transferring your domain to Fast Way Web extends its expiry date by 12 months from the current expiry date
